Job summary
BankUnited seeks a Cloud and Data Enablement Lead with strong Cloud and Data Operations experience who can mature, modernize, and automate critical technology operations. This senior role partners with Architecture, Security, ITSM and Business stakeholders to advance data infrastructure, cloud operations, observability, resiliency, and production readiness in a regulated enterprise.
The role reports to the Director of Technology Operations and offers a path from senior contributor to broader
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ years IT experience with cloud/data operations.
- Leadership or senior management in enterprise platforms.
- Experience with monitoring, incident response, DR/BCP, change management.
- Security and regulatory compliance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Lead cloud and data operations improvements and automation.
- Oversee monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
- Define and enforce runbooks, SLAs, and resiliency patterns.
- Partner with security, architecture, ITSM, and business stakeholders.
- Drive cost optimization and budget planning.
- Mentor and develop teams; drive transformation initiatives.
