Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Cloud and Data Enablement Lead to mature and automate Cloud Operations and Data Operations across hybrid environments. You will partner with Architecture, Security, ITSM, and Data teams to raise operational maturity, drive automation, and improve observability while maintaining regulatory compliance and production stability.

The role reports to the Director of Technology Operations and offers hands-on leadership with potential for broader management responsibilities as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications in AWS Architecture and Engineering, Security and Risk Management, ITIL, Oracle, Snowflake or comparable experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and transform Cloud Infrastructure and Enterprise Data Platforms to automated, scalable operations.
• Ensure 24x7 support and incident response for cloud and data services.
• Develop runbooks, SLAs, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, ITSM, and Business stakeholders.
• Mentor teams and drive automation, observability, and production readiness.
• Manage budgets, costs, and vendor relationships.
