Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build backend services supporting data-centric clinical and analytic apps. You will work with cloud, big data, ML, and analytics technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include building scalable microservices, collaborating with data engineering and platform teams, and implementing DevOps practices with modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile software development techniques.
• Experience with modern application development frameworks.
• Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
• Strong technical aptitude for designing and implementing software solutions.
• Knowledge of full SDLC best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing and operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into code with product owners and architects.
• Develop services around data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, BI and analytics.
• Participate in DevOps, Agile, CI/CD frameworks.
• Program in Go, Python, Java, and related tech.
• Automate deployment with Azure Pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation and more.
• Document processes and source code; communicate across teams.
• Troubleshoot with root-cause analysis and data/system investigations.
• Continue to build knowledge of the organization and customers.
• Perform a range of straightforward assignments under guidance.
