Job summary

EY is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across data platforms and cloud services. You will own end-to-end delivery, from architecture through production, with hands-on involvement and strong client engagement.

You’ll design scalable pipelines on Azure, Kubernetes, and modern cloud stacks, driving reliability, governance and cost awareness in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven record operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Expert understanding of Azure services: Functions, Container Apps, SQL DB, Blob Storage, AKS, Monitor, Prometheus.
• Experience designing and managing Kubernetes-based container platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Experience implementing SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate business requirements into architecture and production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own data pipelines from source to production handoff and monitoring.
• Design and run cloud and container platforms for production use.
• Build scalable pipelines and streaming architectures using Python/SQL.
