Job summary

Zenith, a Publicis Groupe media agency, Atlanta office, seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS and Databricks, and to manage large datasets for reporting and analytics.

You will design relational data models, optimize queries, and collaborate with engineers on performance tuning and data quality. Strong Python, Git, and communication skills are essential; ad tech experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT experience with Databricks.
• 2+ years SQL focusing on schema design, joins, window functions, performance tuning.
• Python data processing or pipeline development experience.
• Databricks (Spark, notebooks, jobs, Delta tables) experience.
• Git version control in collaborative development.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Strong customer service mindset with data-driven solutions.
• Digital media or ad tech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Assemble, transform, and manage large datasets using AWS, Databricks, and SQL.
• Design relational data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of the data platform; monitor pipelines.
• Collaborate on performance tuning, query optimization, and code quality standards.
• Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks, jobs, and orchestration.
• Use Git-based version control to manage code and support CI/CD.
• Estimate and plan development work; track progress and deliver on schedule.
• Create clear, accurate, and maintainable technical documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and production incident support.
