Job summary

Zenith, part of Publicis Groupe, is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. You will transform large datasets using cloud-native technologies (AWS, Databricks) and develop relational data models to support reporting and analytics.

The role requires 2+ years of SQL, Python, and Databricks experience, with strong Git and CI/CD practice. You will collaborate with the data engineering team and contribute to documentation and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT experience with Databricks and related tooling.
• 2+ years in SQL with design, joins, windows, and optimization.
• Python used for data processing or pipelines.
• Experience with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, jobs, Delta tables).
• Proficient Git and collaboration in CI/CD environments.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines per requirements.
• Process and transform large datasets using AWS, Databricks, and SQL.
• Develop relational data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate on performance tuning, query optimization, and code quality.
• Create and maintain Databricks notebooks and jobs; orchestrate workflows.
• Use Git for version control and support CI/CD workflows.
• Estimate, plan, track progress, and deliver on schedule.
• Produce clear technical documentation for the data platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation and production incident support.
