Megazone Cloud US is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead and define our data-driven culture. You will architect scalable data platforms on AWS, driving data strategy with Databricks or Snowflake, and mentor engineers in Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with Python.
• Expert-level proficiency with SQL.
• Hands-on, expert-level experience with Databricks OR Snowflake (certifications or experience with both is a huge plus).
• Expert-level experience building and managing data solutions on AWS.
• Deep expertise in designing and architecting scalable data platforms.
• Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous projects from conception to delivery.
• Experience mentoring other engineers and helping to level up the team.
• A builder mindset, startup mentality, and a genuine thirst for knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills and the flexibility to think fast.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and lead: Architect and own scalable, high-performance data platforms and pipelines on AWS, not just maintain them.
• Define the data ecosystem: Drive the strategy for our data environment, leveraging Databricks and/or Snowflake to create powerful, efficient data models.
• Write and review critical code: Develop clean, optimized, and automated solutions using Python and SQL. Set the standard for code quality and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate and multiply: Act as a key force multiplier within our cross-functional teams, leading ambiguous projects from conception to delivery.
• Be a flexible leader: Embrace a builder mentality. In a startup, you’ll have the flexibility to solve diverse challenges, and your voice will be critical in shaping our technical roadmap.
