Job summary

Midland Industries is seeking a Data Engineer/Data Analyst to design, build and maintain our cloud-based data ecosystem and deliver high-value analytics, reporting, and insights. You’ll work across the full data lifecycle to ensure reliable, scalable, and actionable data for the business.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical needs into robust data solutions, build dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Looker, and help evolve our data strategy with automation and optimization.

Qualifications

• Expert SQL skills for complex querying and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipelines.
• Experience building reports/dashboards with BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and configure cloud data warehouse and storage environments.
• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Architect dimensional models, data marts, and cubes for analytics.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines.
• Create documentation for data systems and processes.
• Build dashboards and reports for business insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytics needs into solutions.
