Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix, and network troubleshooting while supporting 24/7 data center operations.

You will engage with engineers, vendors, and contractors, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to documentation and process improvements. The role requires travel to active data center sites and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training or an associate degree is preferred.
• Military experience of 4+ years is an acceptable background.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical facilities maintenance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
• Carry out routine repairs to contribute to service availability.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance.
