Job summary

Quantum Research Intl. in Huntsville, AL seeks a mid-level System Administrator to design and implement system and platform architectures for the Army Critical Information and Exposure Reporting System (ACIERS). The role emphasizes cloud, security, automation, and high availability.

You will lead a team, provide technical guidance, and ensure architectural alignment with government security frameworks while maintaining on-prem and AWS environments. A Top Secret clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Five years in a systems or networking environment is required.
• Hands-on Active Directory/DNS and STIGs knowledge is expected.
• Experience with virtualization, multi-user computing, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Experience with Windows Server (2016–2025) and Linux in production environments.
• Security clearance and ability to obtain SCI designation are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of systems across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and technicians.
• Ensure alignment with DoW cloud and Army security frameworks.
• Develop high-availability, redundancy, and DR solutions.
• Serve as architecture authority and 3rd level incident support.
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders and produce briefing materials.
• Support compliance toward Authority to Operate on government networks.
