Job summary

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Software Engineer for Audience and Measurement (SEAM) to build software, data pipelines, dashboards, and automation that measure cloud spend and efficiency. You will partner with Finance and product teams to translate budgets and unit economics into actionable engineering work.

You will work with Architecture, Platform, Data, SRE, and product teams to improve cost visibility, reliability, and developer productivity while delivering scalable audience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years hands-on software engineering experience with modern languages.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and cost-management concepts.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software, data pipelines, dashboards, and automation for cloud cost measurement.
• Translate budgets and forecasts into actionable engineering requirements.
• Identify cost anomalies and optimize workload placement and data movement.
• Develop AI-enabled solutions to automate operational work and forecasting.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Finance, Product, Data, Platform, and SRE to improve reliability and cost visibility.
