Job summary

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Software Engineer for Audience and Measurement to deliver software, data pipelines, dashboards, and automation that optimize cloud spend and performance. You will partner with Finance and Engineering to translate budgets into actionable requirements and measurable initiatives.

You will analyze cloud workloads, identify inefficiencies, and implement AI-enabled solutions to forecast, detect anomalies, and improve delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering using Python/Go/Java/JavaScript/Scala.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and cloud billing/cost-management concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software, data pipelines, dashboards, and automation to measure cloud spend and capacity.
• Translate budgets and business cases into engineering requirements and optimization initiatives.
• Analyze workloads to identify cost anomalies and improve workload placement and data movement.
• Develop AI/analytics-enabled solutions to automate operational work and forecasting.
• Contribute to scalable, secure, and maintainable services using cloud-native patterns and IaC.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Finance, Product, Data, Platform, and SRE to improve financial accountability.
