Job summary

Peraton is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to join our national intelligence program in Huntsville. You will help engineer, deploy, and sustain IT systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments to meet mission needs.

The role emphasizes cloud computing, system administration, and secure operations, with a TS/SCI clearance required and poly ability. The position may be contingent on contract awards and offers strong growth in a critical defense sector.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a poly.
• DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II: CISSP or Security+.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Support provisioning of platforms and OSs, server builds, virtualization, and cloud deployments.
• Deploy, operate, and maintain cloud computing services and infrastructure.
• Maintain infrastructure devices per O&M policies and lifecycle.
• Take operational responsibility for Hosted Server Compute solutions across virtual/physical servers and cloud.
• Integrate, operate, and maintain Cloud and Server service areas.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents; document SOPs and reports.
