Peraton in Annapolis, MD is seeking a software engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and current polygraph to join a team delivering high-impact analytics. You will contribute across requirements analysis, development, testing, and maintenance, supporting on-call rotations and rapid deployments to mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a technical bachelor's degree, and certifications such as CKAD or AWS Developer-Associate.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph required.
• 8+ years of experience in software development/engineering across requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph required


• At least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution


• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required

One of the following certifications is required:

• AWS Certified Developer-Associate


• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional


• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)


• Elastic Certified Engineer

Highly Desired:

• Familiarity with Git, Kubernetes, Docker, or comparable DevOps experience


• Familiarity with Spring Framework/Spring Batch


• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch


• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Junit and Mockito


• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as ReactJS


• Familiarity with agency data flow formats and standards


• Familiarity with analyst toolkit applications


• Recent work experience with Java (Maven) with some Python


• Recent work experience with Streaming data frameworks (Flink, Spring Cloud Data Flow)
