Job summary

Peraton seeks a senior DevOps engineer to support a rapidly growing team on an AWS-based stack. You will deploy updates, monitor system health, and manage CI/CD while upholding security practices in a cloud environment.

Required: 5+ years of related experience, TS/SCI with polygraph, and AWS/Git/GitLab, Kubernetes, and Docker proficiency. Excellent collaboration in Agile teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is highly desired and may be considered equivalent to 2 years of experience.
• Master’s degree in a technical field will be considered equivalent to 4 years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• One of the following certifications required: AWS Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer, CKAD, Elastic Certified Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Support a rapidly developing team of new features and production systems.
• Deploy updates, maintain multiple services, monitor system health.
• CI/CD management and security compliance for cloud-based architecture.
• Contribute to architecture and design reviews and assist in technical approaches.
• Interface with developers across the team for pipeline updates and requirements.
