The Collaboration Services Engineer I role supports cloud-based systems by following established procedures, assisting with configuration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of cloud environments and collaboration tools in a team setting for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Intelligence/Analytics/IT or similar with 0-2 years experience.
• Experience administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Scripting languages Bash, Python, etc.
• Certifications: CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GICSP, SSCP, or GSEC.
• Understanding of cloud computing principles and security controls.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
• Willingness to learn in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and procedure-following mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee cloud computing strategy and adoption plans.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions with front-end/back-end platforms.
• Support and maintain cloud-based DoD mission systems.
• Manage cloud storage and access control with security compliance.
• Conduct discovery analyses and deliver strategy/workshops.
• Optimize cloud performance and automate where possible.
• Provide current-to-future-state architecture assessments.
• Lead cross-team consultative engagements to resolve issues.
