Job summary

EXPANSIA is seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer II to oversee hybrid cloud migrations for critical DoD programs. Based at Langley AFB, VA with additional locations, you will coordinate data and cloud transition efforts, lead technical planning, and ensure data integrity throughout waves of migration while collaborating across architecture, PMO, and engineering teams.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years in IT with AWS/Kubernetes/CI-CD experience, and a proactive, cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant IT experience.
Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and data migration.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software refactoring in complex environments.
DoD 8570-compliant certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Coordinate data and cloud migration activities across projects to ensure a unified approach.
Communicate timelines, risks, and technical considerations to stakeholders.
Lead discovery, planning, and execution of cloud migrations into the DAFCw environment.
Perform IT environment assessments, baselines, dependencies, and risk profiling.
Define and execute migration plans including ETL and validation processes.
Design, operate, and optimize migration tools for mission partner needs and platform requirements.
Develop MaaS processes, tooling, and documentation, ensuring data integrity post-migration.
Support on-call requirements and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
