Job summary

State Street Alpha is seeking a highly motivated Security Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on designing and automating CIAM solutions in the cloud to manage access for workforce, customers, and partners.

Responsibilities include evolving lifecycle management, evaluating new authentication technologies, and assisting auditors. A Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of cloud/infrastructure experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years related work experience in enterprise cloud/infrastructure technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with CIAM in regulated SaaS environments
• Strong automation and scripting skills
• Ability to lead with multiple priorities and communicate clearly

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor automated CIAM solutions at scale for workforce, customers and partners
• Evolve identity lifecycle management processes for humans and automation accounts
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve authentication strength
• Test and operationalize new features on existing platforms
• Proactively identify opportunities and gaps in technologies and processes
• Assist external auditors with CIAM-related questions
• Manage third-party vendor engagements such as auditors and pentesters
• Participate in projects to enhance Cloud Security beyond CIAM
