A growing manufacturing organization is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to help guide the future of its technology infrastructure. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys looking at the big picture, solving complex problems, and still staying close enough to the technology to help turn ideas into reality.

This person will work closely with technology leadership and teams across the organization to evaluate the current environment, identify opportunities for improvement, and help establish a more scalable and modern infrastructure strategy.

What You'll Do

• Help define the future direction of the organization's cloud and infrastructure environment
• Evaluate the current technology landscape and recommend opportunities for modernization and improvement
• Lead and contribute to major initiatives across cloud, networking, security, identity, and infrastructure
• Balance long-term architecture and strategy with hands‑on involvement
• Help create standards and best practices that can be used consistently across the organization
• Partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and outside vendors
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for different audiences
• Take ownership of initiatives and help move projects from ideas to execution
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, security, and overall efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in cloud and infrastructure architecture
• Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments
• Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands‑on level
• Broad understanding of cloud, networking, security, automation, and modern infrastructure practices
• Experience with technologies such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to quickly understand a new environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and senior leadership
• Collaborative, confident, and comfortable taking ownership of initiatives
• Track record of making a meaningful, measurable impact within an organization

Ideal Background

Experience within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or another large-scale, multi-location organization would translate well to this environment. We're particularly interested in candidates who have directly owned and improved complex technology environments rather than working exclusively in an advisory capacity.
