Job summary

As an entry-level technical sales engineer intern, you will participate in client discovery, build demos, translate technical concepts into business value, and partner with sales and success teams

Qualifications

• Active enrolled undergraduate or graduate student.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, software development, AI, automation, data, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and passion for technology and client success.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client discovery sessions to understand objectives, requirements, success criteria, environments, and opportunities to apply IBM technology.
• Design and validate technical solution approaches addressing customer challenges and business goals.
• Build and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept, workshops, and technical presentations.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business value for stakeholders through storytelling and documentation.
• Support customer adoption, expansion, and success by identifying use cases and deployment considerations.
• Collaborate with sales, technical specialists, customer success teams, and partners to progress opportunities.
• Contribute ideas and best practices to accelerate client success and solution adoption.
• Present findings and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
