Job summary

The University of Alabama is seeking a Systems Analyst II to plan and configure software systems supporting administrative functions across campus. Under moderate supervision, you will implement integrations, support cloud/SaaS applications, and assist in process development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or administering cloud applications, enterprise software-as-a-service platforms, identity and access management, software licensing, or comparable IT systems.
• Experience troubleshooting application access or configuration issues, following change procedures, maintaining technical documentation, and working directly with customers.
• Working knowledge of cloud application administration and identity and access management concepts, including accounts, groups, roles, permissions, authentication, multifactor authentication, subscriptions, and licenses.
• Ability to learn and administer multiple vendor consoles and apply documented technical, security, privacy, procurement, records-management, and responsible AI requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with users of varying technical ability, manage multiple requests, protect confidential information, and create concise support documentation.

• Plan and configure low- to moderate-complexity software systems for university administration.
• Develop processes and create workflows; install, configure, and maintain integrations.
• Support and troubleshoot vendor-supplied cloud applications and AI platforms.
