CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join our team building the next generation of AI/ML technologies.

You will work closely with scientists, software engineers and product managers to provide technical leadership and strategic direction, shaping the AI capabilities and deploying LLM-driven applications. This role focuses on AI safety, red-teaming, and scalable solutions, with opportunities to mentor, publish, and influence CrowdStrike's strategic AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in CS/Data Science or related field.
• 7+ years of applied ML/research experience.
• Deep expertise in LLM training/deployment at scale.
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring.
• Proficient in Python, DL frameworks, and cloud tech.
• Expert understanding of GPU technologies and optimisation.
• Outstanding communication to influence stakeholders.
• Track record solving complex technical challenges at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative AI/ML solutions for AI safety and cyber detection.
• Lead end-to-end research & development: data sourcing, labeling, modeling, evaluation, and engineering collaboration.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Drive research in GenAI agents/LLMs and deployment strategies.
• Balance accuracy, efficiency, and costs of deployed AI/ML models.
• Guide model architecture and training approaches for production.
• Mentor data scientists and foster engineering excellence.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives aligning technical strategy with business goals.
