Job summary

Flexcompute seeks a mid-level software engineer to join our Wisconsin-based engineering team, building scalable systems and contributing across layers of a cloud-native platform. You’ll help develop core infrastructure and user-facing capabilities for simulation and collaboration platforms, focusing initially on workspace and workbench functionality.

You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and product leaders while shaping AI-enabled workflows and future platform architecture.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills across one or more languages listed.
• Experience building backend systems, APIs, or distributed services.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and Git workflows.
• Ability to independently drive technical projects and collaborate across teams.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
