Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, information systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud-based AI/ML system design, development, or administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CTO strategic initiatives and technology projects with a focus on AI and cloud solutions.
• Drive data and AI initiatives across multiple agency systems, IT groups, and state entities.
• Design, develop, and administer highly scalable AI systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, including analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Evaluate current state vs. desired outcomes, identify gaps, and propose roadmaps and investment justifications.
• Oversee staff training for AI tools and promote adoption across teams.

Education
