What We Do

The Cloud Administrator role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operations of on-premise and off-premise Cloud infrastructure that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by providing on-premise and off-premise computing delivery services through workflow automation, installing and maintaining Cloud infrastructure for on-premise computing, as well as performance monitoring and capacity planning for all Cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve technical problems and issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

What You'll Do

  1. Receive work assignments through the “ticketing system” or from Lead Administrators and management.
  2. Perform server hardware/software installation and maintenance tasks for on-premise Cloud infrastructure, ranging from standard to moderately complex.
  3. Perform complex technical tasks with minimal guidance from senior technical personnel.
  4. Install and maintain Cloud management tools.
  5. Provide problem diagnostic and resolution support.
  6. Use Cloud management tools to perform performance monitoring and capacity planning for all Cloud infrastructure.
  7. Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Cloud workflow processes and procedures.
  8. Provide guidance and support to internal and external customers on Cloud services and workflow processes.
  9. Provide on-call support during off-duty hours on a scheduled/rotating basis.
  10. Perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
  11. Work autonomously on assigned installation, maintenance, support, and problem resolution tasks of standard to moderately complex nature.
  12. Work on complex technical tasks under guidance from senior-level technical personnel.
  13. Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of automated Cloud workflow processes.
  14. Work within general departmental guidelines on standard to moderately complex tasks.
  15. Collaborate with more experienced team members on complex tasks.
  16. Contribute actively to team results and work towards achieving team goals.

What You'll Bring

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. Desired Certifications: Microsoft Windows operating systems, storage area networking, or tool automation; VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
  3. 3-5 years of hands-on technical support experience with X86 server, storage, and networking infrastructure.
  4. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server OS and Storage Area Networks.
  6. Ability to develop basic workflow automation using scripting languages and automation tools.
  7. Strong organizational skills to prioritize work.
  8. Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
  9. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary Range: $75,375 - $100,475 Annually

This range is an estimate of the base pay at the time of posting. Pay depends on factors including knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and location.
