As the Cloud Administrator with the BCBSWY IT Team, you will help the organization securely connect people, devices, and applications in the cloud. This includes managing mobile device and application management, identity and access, and cross‑tenant integrations across Microsoft 365 and other cloud environments. Your focus will be on keeping the cloud environment secure, scalable, and performing at its best—whether through strong conditional access policies, seamless single sign‑on experiences, secure network connectivity to the cloud, or proactive cloud service management. Ultimately, you will ensure that the technology behind the scenes remains reliable, secure, and fully aligned to support organizational needs.
You will collaborate closely with all other BCBSWY IT administrators to ensure consistent operational performance. You will work with host site support personnel to maintain remote applications and ensure reliable access for end users. You will provide management with weekly and special reports to ensure that issues, trends, and processing requirements are identified and addressed in a timely manner. Additionally, you will serve in a backup capacity for other team members as needed or assigned, supporting continuity across the IT environment.
Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in information technology or a related field; directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Specialized experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Entra, Intune, Purview, Teams, and OneDrive is required, along with continued pursuit of education in information technology, typically in system administration, information technology, or a related field. A minimum of two years of directly related work experience, typically in cloud administration, Microsoft 365 administration, or a related field, is also required. Certification in Microsoft Azure or related credentials is strongly preferred.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft and other cloud infrastructure management, including configuration and security policies. You should possess strong planning, organizational, task‑focused, and goal‑oriented competencies. A desire to learn new skills and work with new technologies is essential for continued growth and effectiveness in this position.
