Goodwill is hiring for a donation-processing role in Charlotte. You will sort donated clothing, separate higher-value items, and organize stock for the sales floor. No prior experience is required, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

You’ll be standing most of the day, handling bins, and moving items while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role offers opportunities for training and growth within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort donated clothing to meet quality standards.
• Identify and separate higher-value items for special handling.
• Organize items into sellable and unsellable bins.
• Track daily production counts and maintain records.
• Hang and group clothing using color rotation.
• Stock or remove clothing from the sales floor as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with procedures.
• Support other roles as needed.
• Report theft, safety, or security concerns to management.
