Bass Pro Shops in Pearland, TX is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to handle receipt-to-floor stocking for apparel merchandise. You will support backroom organization, merchandising standards, and inventory systems throughout your shift.

This role emphasizes efficient processing, replenishment, signage, and strong customer service in a fast-paced retail environment with a team-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior experience required, but retail familiarity helps.
• Proficiency with inventory systems is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise at receipt following Visual Merchandising & MPS standards.
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor per Visual Merchandising Standards.
• Stay informed on advertised sales to assist backroom organization.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with pricing maintenance and signage.
• Keep work area clean, neat, organized and stocked.
• Ensure backstock remains organized and accessible.
• Provide excellent customer service and a pleasant shopping experience.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
