You will validate designs via simulations and prepare technical documentation. Experience with Siemens NX/Teamcenter, strong problem-solving, and a Bachelor of Computer Science are preferred.

Qualifications

• CAD design of closure systems and components in Siemens NX / Teamcenter.
• Master sections and detailed engineering criteria for closures.
• Styling feasibility balancing aesthetics with engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory constraints.
• Ensure manufacturability and stamping requirements through cross-functional teams.
• Robust joining/attachment strategies to meet targets.
• Coordinate virtual build and design integration across systems.
• Support virtual validation/CAE with analysis-ready data and iterative design.
• Closure hardware integration: hinges, latches, seals, etc.
• Stamping & hemming processes impact on design.
• Gap, flush, fit & finish, and dimensional robustness.
• Regulatory and safety considerations for closures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with product requirements.
• Prototype, test, and validate closure designs.
• Use CAD and simulation tools to optimize closure performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
• Provide technical documentation and design specifications.
