Job summary

West Side Beer Distributing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the closing-shift operations at our Romulus facility. You will manage a hands-on team, ensure accurate picking and loading, and drive on-time next-day deliveries.

The role requires 4–5 years of supervisory warehouse experience, strong data-driven decision-making, and proficiency with WMS and Microsoft Office. This permanent, on-site position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Associate degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
• 4-5 years of progressive warehouse/operations supervisory experience.
• Experience leading teams, coaching, and accountability.
• Experience using data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Experience with inventory management and distribution operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead closing-shift warehouse operations and ensure accurate order selection, loading, and delivery readiness.
• Coach and develop warehouse associates; manage attendance, productivity, safety, quality, and performance.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, labor utilization, inventory, and other metrics.
• Analyze results to improve efficiency, service, and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize WMS and voice-pick tech to support operations.
• Coordinate with Inventory and Transportation to resolve issues and meet schedules.
• Verify outbound loads, inventory rotation, and order accuracy.
• Conduct safety inspections and support OSHA compliance initiatives.
• Assist with payroll review and operational reporting accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Communicate needs and opportunities to management and other departments.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
