Job summary

Aver is hiring for an evening/night shift role in Bloomington, IN. Be on time, clean, and in uniform as a first requirement. You will direct staff at the cut table, catch mistakes, and correct issues to ensure quality service.

Responsibilities include greeting carry-out customers, taking orders by phone, and preparing pizzas and items per our menu. You will close the books, check deliveries, and tally performance data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• POS and credit/debit card processing experience.
• Able to stand, bend, kneel and lift heavy objects as needed.

Managers start pay at $17.00/hour wages + earn $3.15/hour tips (on average). 10 pm - 3 am, up to 5 nights/week.

Be on time, clean, and in uniform.

From your primary station at the cut table: direct & correct staff throughout the shift, catch mistakes before they leave the store, and make things right when a mistake does happen.

In addition, at times: greet and assist our carry-out customers, enter delivery and pick-up orders via phone, and prepare delicious pizzas & other food according to our unique menu.

Complete task & cleaning checklists and be sure your staff is doing the same.

Close the books: Accept orders until the end of service at 2 a.m. Check out delivery drivers. Count down cash drawer. Settle credit cards. Record performance numbers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
• Operates the complete POS system and other required software
• Accepts responsibility and accountability for his or her money drawer
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Point-of-sale (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to work evenings to late night, weekends, and holidays
