Job summary

Layne's Chicken Fingers in Parma, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to coach, teach, and uphold our standards. Lead by example during fast-paced shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive a positive culture across the team in both front of house and kitchen areas.

You will train hourly staff, manage daily operations, and perform POS duties while maintaining high quality and efficiency. This role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and ongoing development of staff and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Have an understanding of each position and what their roles are.
• Be trained and competent in all hourly positions and responsibilities.
• Able to complete manager functions on the POS.
• Labor Management.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Recognize coaching and teaching opportunities.
• Operational Awareness: know what is going on at all times.
• Having positive interactions with the guest and being present for both the guest and the team.
• Exceed expectations to uphold a clean restaurant in the front and kitchen.
• Utilizing company documentation and checklist to ensure every shift is PERFECT EVERY TIME!
• Complete closing shift paperwork.
• Hold themselves and others accountable.
• Be the leader of a positive company culture.

• 1+ years of fast-food management experience.
• 1+ years of fast-food experience.
