Job summary

Life Time in Green Valley, AZ is seeking a Restaurant Cook to join our health-minded team. You will prepare menu items per recipes, in a fast-paced cafe setting, while upholding food safety guidelines.

You will stock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen operations with the sandwich and salad stations. CPR/AED and ServSafe certifications are required or completed within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification within first 90 days.
• CPR/AED certification within first 30 days.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand and move around cafe for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment and washing dishes.
• Manages the flow of food production with the sandwich and salad stations.
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness and quality of ingredients while preparing food.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment proudly serving our members industry-leading healthy food options. They produce menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and following food safety guidelines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen


• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes


• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations


• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.


• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time


• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire


• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience


• Experience prepping recipes
