Job summary

Kisling, Nestico & Redick, LLC (KNR) is seeking a Closing Paralegal in Cleveland, OH to support prelitigation files under supervision. Responsibilities include document prep, review, and client communications to close cases efficiently.

You will assist attorneys, manage case correspondence, and help with settlement paperwork while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years relevant work experience in related field such as insurance and/or medical billing, insurance verification or accounting.
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Case Management
• Logging daily mail and drafting any correspondence necessary in the day-to-day case management
• Balance verifications
• Assistance with the resolution and protection of all subrogation lien interests
• Preparation of file for litigation transfer when necessary
• Assist Attorney with settlement paperwork and disbursements
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Meeting goals set by management
• Communicating and corresponding with clients, Attorney, and insurance adjusters regarding case status
• Consistent client contacts
• Weekly reports
• Monthly team meetings
• Attend Quarterly Meetings (mandatory)
• Regular, consistent, punctual attendance.
