The Closing Manager will drive daily operations, coach associates, and maintain high standards of quality and safety, contributing to Harps’ mission of value, freshness, and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in a retail grocery store preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Adaptable to different situations and the ability to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change.
• Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grocery department operations including readiness, marketing plan execution, price maintenance, policies, inventory preparation, cleanliness, and safe use of equipment.
• Assist with replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, receiving, returns, and invoicing.
• Maintain merchandising standards including stocking, displays, signing, and signing.
• Direct fresh food preparation and production and ensure food safety standards.
• Oversee front-end operations by managing daily schedule, registers, and breaks.
• Monitor safety programs and ensure compliance with policies and training.
