Down the Street Eats in Winter Park, CO is seeking a Deli Clerk - Closing Staff to maintain top-tier restaurant operations and superb guest service at closing time.

You will clean, sanitize, stock, and secure the dining area and kitchen, while handling final guest orders and closing transactions. The role emphasizes reliability, late-night flexibility, and meticulous food-safety practices within a busy, growing organization.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, hospitality, or custodial/cleaning experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible late-night hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High level of reliability, punctuality, and accountability—closers essential to morning openings.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, deep clean, and sanitize slicers, scales, prep lines and related machines per health standards.
• Wrap, label, date and store meats, cheeses, and salads in coolers; log final display temperatures.
• Clean glass display cases, sanitize wells, restock packaging and condiments for opening team.
• Provide courteous late-night service and process final register transactions.
• Sweep and mop floors, dispose of trash, and perform end-of-night lockup with management.
