Job summary

Florida Agency Network (FAN) is seeking a detail-oriented Title Closer to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will manage closings, prepare closing documents, and coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders and agents to ensure timely and accurate closings.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience in title insurance processing and closing, with strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Softpro.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in title insurance processing and closing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Softpro is preferred.
• Notary Public Certification - Florida is required.
• Knowledge of Florida title insurance, escrow and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process and close real estate transactions.
• Prepare and review settlement statements and closing documents with accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders and agents to schedule and facilitate closings.
• Conduct thorough reviews of the title commitment to identify any issues that may affect the transaction.
• Resolve title issues and discrepancies in a timely manner and with clear communication.
• Ensure all title and closing requirements are met prior to closing.
• Disburse all funds in accordance with closing instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of all closing transactions.
• Order, review and disclose matters on surveys, sales contracts, estoppels, searches, etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the process.
• Stay current with industry regulations, best practices and credit hours.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in title insurance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Title Closer will be responsible for preparing closing documents, coordinating with all parties involved in the closing process and ensuring that closings are completed accurately, on time and with professionalism. FAN is a network of independent real estate title agencies that have formed a strategic alliance to provide shared back-office services, pooled resources, and greater geographic coverage throughout the State of Florida. • Comprehensive understanding of Florida title insurance, escrow and closing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Softpro is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Notary Public Certification - Florida
• Title License Preferred
