Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking an Associate on the CLO Structuring team to model cash flows, analyze portfolios, and support the rating process. You will work with colleagues across credit, leveraged loan trading, sales, and syndicate in a rigorous banking environment.

You will receive hands-on training from senior team members while applying analytical skills to complex CLO structures and documentation workflows. A strong quantitative background and relevant licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in CLOs, leveraged finance, structured credit or a closely related credit markets role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with advanced Excel; Python/VBA a plus.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complexity under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate across functions.
• Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and run CLO cash flow models; produce analytics for marketing and execution.
• Develop familiarity with rating agency models and reconcile outputs across platforms.
• Analyze loan portfolios to extract key metrics and support structuring decisions.
• Support ratings process and related deliverables with counsel and stakeholders.
• Review documentation and ensure updates are implemented accurately.
• Ensure consistency between deal docs and modeling assumptions across models.
• Respond to investor analytics requests and summarize results for senior leads.
• Prepare investor materials, pitch books, and deal outputs; update with transactions.
• Support timelines and coordination across syndicate, legal, and operations through closing.
• Monitor warehouse/ramp status and flag deviations or risks; identify automation tasks.
• Manage junior workflow and review analysts’ work for accuracy.
