Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a highly motivated Associate on the CLO Primary structuring desk in New York. You will receive hands-on training in CLO analysis and modeling, working in a rigorous environment alongside senior team members to solve complex, multivariate problems.

You will collaborate across credit, leveraged loan trading, sales, and syndicate in a dynamic banking function within a leading markets business, contributing to analytics and marketing outputs for deals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in CLOs, leveraged finance, structured credit, or a related credit markets role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with advanced Excel; Python/VBA a plus.
• Ability to manage complexity under tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborate across functions.
• Familiarity with rating agency methodologies and CLO documentation.
• SIE, Series 7, Series 63 and Series 79 licenses are required.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and run CLO cash flow models and analytics for marketing and execution.
• Learn rating agency criteria and support ratings process and deliverables.
• Analyze loan portfolios; distill risks and drivers to inform structuring decisions.
• Coordinate with counsel and stakeholders to ensure document updates align with modeling assumptions.
• Prepare investor marketing materials and update deal outputs as transactions evolve.
• Monitor timelines across syndicate, legal, and middle office through closing.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and controls.
