Job summary

Alter Domus in Carmel, IN seeks an entry-level Portfolio Administration support professional to gain loan product knowledge and help input, review, and process syndicated loan portfolios. You will collaborate with Loan Services and client teams in a fast-paced environment.

You should be organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel, with good communication to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or economics preferred.
• Basic knowledge of loan operations, lending or securitization with service experience.
• Strong problem solving, organization and communication abilities.
• Solid Microsoft Excel experience and data accuracy.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg or loan research tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Portfolio Administration to input, review, and process syndicated loan portfolios.
• Use Loan Services software and proprietary systems for daily tasks.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely inquiries responses.
• Handle daily cash and par coordination with client and trustee.
• Review and distribute cash reconciliations and daily client reports.
• Update portfolios with post-trade attributes and ratings.
• Coordinate data comparisons and reconcilations on CLO Monthly Reports.
• Interact with Loan Administration, Asset Services, Recon, Trade Settlement and Trustees.
