Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a CLO Operations Associate to support collateralized loan obligation portfolios by maintaining loan data, processing transactions, and resolving issues in a fast-paced financial environment. The role is hybrid with about 60% on-site work, with locations in Chicago, IL and St.

Paul, MN. You will collaborate with agent banks, trustees, and internal teams to meet deadlines, process payments, review reports, and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Typically an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically less than two years of relevant work experience
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and data interpretation

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily reports and dashboards to identify and resolve operational exceptions.
• Process agent bank notices, interest payments, rate settings, paydowns, and other loan-related activity.
• Maintain accurate loan and asset information within CLO systems and assigned portfolios.
• Research discrepancies and investigate missing payments, reports, or transaction activity.
• Partner with agent banks, trustees, and internal teams to resolve issues and obtain missing information.
• Process and track global activity impacting multiple deals and portfolios.
• Ensure activities are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
