Job summary

Oliver James, partnering with a global asset manager, seeks a Controller in Manhattan to lead finance and accounting for its CLO platform within private credit. The role covers close packages, NAV, waterfalls, investor reporting, and compliance across a complex fund structure.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA with 8–12 years of accounting experience, with CLO or credit fund exposure a plus. Competitive base salary up to $200k plus a $50k discretionary bonus in a strong hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• 8–12 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Exposure to credit-related products, especially CLOs, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for the CLO business.
• Own month-end close, NAV, allocations, waterfalls and fund returns.
• Manage investor reporting with Fund Administrator incl. audits.
• Assist cash management forecasts and debt facility oversight.
