Job summary

State Street is seeking a business analyst level professional in the Structured Trust and Analytics group in Massachusetts. You will manage client relationships, onboard new deals, and train staff on deal mechanics and service requirements, while overseeing deliverables including monthly/quarterly reporting and payment calculations.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments, and a client-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• 3+ years of experience in an investment firm.
• Experience managing client relationships and overseeing staff/deliverables.
• Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets.
• Creating Excel-based models to measure tests and parameters in legal documents (e.g., CLOs/Bank Loans).
• Interpretation of Indentures, Credit Agreements and Offering Memorandums.
• Experience with credit instruments (senior secured loans and high yield bonds).
• Familiarity with listed systems: Wall Street Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Solvas, LoanOps Portal, My State Street, Bloomberg, LS Fax, Collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and generate new business leads.
• Onboard new deals according to company and group procedures.
• Train staff on deal mechanics and service requirements.
• Oversee client deliverables including quarterly reporting and payment date calculations.
