Job summary

State Street is seeking a motivated professional to support the opening and ongoing maintenance of customer custody accounts within Global Delivery. This role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and strong client service, with duties spanning openings, market maintenance, reporting, and escalation when issues arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in financial services or operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact between internal partners and external clients regarding local market requirements for opening securities and cash accounts.
• Prepare, review, and process foreign market account openings and amendments in accordance with established procedures.
• Partner with internal teams, clients, and sub‑custodians to ensure accounts are accurately established and ready for trading.
• Support ongoing market maintenance activities, including periodic market renewals.
• Monitor and maintain reporting related to assigned clients and markets.
• Escalate issues and potential risks to management in a timely manner.
