Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,016 - $72,800

Travel Percentage: Up to 25%

Position: Clinician, Residential

Benefits: Licensed Social Workers or Mental Health Counselors are eligible for a $7,500 signing bonus! MSW/MHC's with Limited Permit are eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus!

As a Clinician, you will coordinate client assessments and collaborate with children, families, legal guardians, law guardians, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, educators, childcare staff, and other providers to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive, permanency-focused case plans for children in the Residential Program. You will report to the Director of the Residential Treatment Facility and work on-site.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with treatment providers to establish treatment goals for children, utilizing historical and current information.
  • Meet and communicate with biological families, guardians, foster families, and case workers.
  • Assess individual and family situations.
  • Identify problem areas, set treatment goals, and develop methods to achieve them.
  • Provide therapeutic services to children weekly and to families bi-weekly using differential treatment modalities.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and monitor treatment plans and progress.
  • Develop case coordination skills.
  • Collaborate with referring and collateral agencies, preparing reports and correspondence as needed.
  • Maintain case records according to agency, OMH, and other state mandates.
  • Participate in intake assessments as assigned.
  • Plan for discharge and permanency at admission.
  • Communicate actively with clients and stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Ensure quality oversight and continuous improvement of services.
Requirements and Education:
  • Master’s degree required; related experience preferred.
  • RTF Clinician requires two years of related experience.
  • Professional licensure preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
  • Must pass a physical examination.
  • Must complete TCI training.
  • Must have a valid NYS driver’s license.
