Job summary

SSTAR’s Lifeline program in Fall River, MA is seeking a licensed clinician to deliver individual, group, and family counseling for addiction and mental health within a supportive, collaborative team. You will provide evaluation and treatment services, coordinate care with partners, and participate in supervision and professional development opportunities in a full-time onsite role at SSTAR South End Services.

Annual salary range is $68,000–$80,000.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling.
• LICSW, LMHC, LADC1 preferred or on track for LMHC/LICSW licensure.
• Minimum of two years in substance use treatment, including at least one year in a drug treatment environment.
• Strong documentation and assessment skills.
• Experience with individuals affected by substance use disorders and mental health concerns.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
• Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus for Independently Licensed Clinicians.

Lifeline isan outpatient opioid treatment program of SSTAR. The goal of theprogram is to provide evaluation, treatment, and continuum of servicesto all who seek services regardless of their socioeconomic or healthstatus. Lifeline provides treatment with medical staff specializing inopioid addiction and to offer clinical specialized treatment for allsubstance disorders, mental health, domestic violence and other typesof trauma.

Lifeline provides daily dosing of Methadone and individualized outpatient services. All patients receive their dailyMethadone dosing, medical services, individual, group, couples, andfamily counseling. Numerous case management services along with referrals are incorporated into treatment. Services are provided by licensed nursing staff along with trained clinical staff. Patients are assessed at admission by the medical director and follow up appointments are scheduled throughout treatment. The clinical staff focus on the individual patient needs along with including family and other outside agencies to better enhance their treatment.

Lifeline is fully integrated with SSTAR’s health center, outpatientpsychiatric services, and inpatient units.

SSTAR’s clinical team provides comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services in a safe and welcoming environment! The clinician provides individual, group, and family counseling to people affected by addiction and or/mental illness. The licensed clinician may also have opportunities to provide clinical supervision to other team members.
