Job summary

Genesee Country Village & Museum is seeking a Trauma-Informed Clinician to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals affected by domestic abuse and violence. The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and involves leading therapy sessions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

The Opportunity: Trauma-Informed Clinician

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of trauma, mental health, and substance use, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals impacted by intimate partner violence and domestic abuse.

Experience and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.
• Clinical licensure, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT, preferred. Licensure-track required.
• Prior experience in working with domestic violence, complex trauma, and/or crime victims preferred.
• Strong knowledge of victim advocacy supports and resources.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other professionals.
• Sensitivity to diversity issues and a commitment to cultural competency.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) a plus.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $68,000 - 80,000
