Job description

Why M Physicians?

The Clinician Onboarding Specialist leads all aspects of the end-to-end onboarding process for clinicians. As a team, we serve as the main point of contact for clinicians, operational leadership, human resources, and other key partners. We ensure a consistent and professional onboarding experience for clinicians and faculty partners, while actively supervising, auditing, and communicating updates to relevant partners across the M Health system, including the University of Minnesota Medical School and Fairview. The specialist works closely with clinicians and takes ownership of the clinician relationship throughout the onboarding process.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Educating clinicians on the onboarding process, requirements, and timelines.
  • Verifying compliance and regulatory requirements for employment and clinical practice are met prior to their start date.
  • Serving as the primary resource for clinicians during onboarding, following up on action items, and ensuring timely completion of requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Recruitment, Onboarding, or Human Resources.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to connect with a wide variety of employees, managers, and candidates while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Location: Remote work, considering MN residents only at this time.

Hours: 1.0 FTE

Compensation: $64,335.00 - $93,288.00 USD annually
