Smile Doctors in Gainesville, GA is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing team. You will assist with placing and removing orthodontic appliances, take records, and help manage patient flow under the Orthodontist's supervision.

This role emphasizes patient education, remote monitoring, infection-control, and community involvement. A valid dental assistant certification or state requirements, and CPR/radiography where required, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Clinician I.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Perform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Assist in final checks on patients and lead patient flow.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per protocol.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
