The Part-Time Clinician at Mental Health Association - Western MA provides structured, recovery-oriented services to adults (18+) in the GRIT residential program in Springfield, MA. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and aftercare planning for community reintegration.
Key duties include individual therapy, weekly group sessions, treatment team collaboration, and documentation in line with agency standards.
The Part-Time Clinician provides structured, person-centered, recovery-oriented services to adult residents (ages 18+) living in the GRIT residential program. This position plays a critical role in supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, working within a multidisciplinary team to promote long-term recovery and assist with aftercare planning for community reintegration.
Pay Range: $52,000-$57,000 annually, depending on education level
Open Shift: Wednesday & Friday 8am-4pm, Thursday 8am-12pm (20hrs)
The GRIT program at MHA provides residential rehabilitation for individuals with substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health conditions. Residents participate in individualized counseling, recovery-focused programming, and community activities such as education, job training, or employment, all within a structured and supportive environment. With locations in Springfield (men’s programs) and Holyoke (LGBTQIA+ program), GRIT combines the comforts of home with access to vital resources. A skilled, multidisciplinary team works closely with each resident to support recovery, personal growth, and long-term stability, while creating personalized aftercare plans for a successful return to the community.
